KK July 2010

Bikia and Emy were back to KK on 10-11 July weekend for get-together before dad's 69th birthday on Friday. The whole family went down to Sedco square for seafood dinner after Beh Ling arrived on Saturday evening.

 

 

The next day, for lunch, we feasted on more local seafood - crabs, prawns & crawfish.

Sunday 12 Sept 2010

I was back in KK for the Hari Raya holidays. Met up with a few schoolmates at Zuleika's Raya open house. To my surprise, uncle Arthur was there too.

Dec 2010 

Beh Ling was back with Bernice, her best friend, for the Christmas holidays. She had severe food poisoning on her first day back, and was not able to enjoy the Club's Christmas lunch.

After 2 days, she had recovered and we went out for dinner with aunty Soo Lee, to give her a Christmas treat. We were at Secret Recipe, Warisan Square and did some shopping after that until the shops closed at 10 PM.

The next day, we were at the airport. Beh Ling was only back for 4 days whereas I stayed on until New Year's day.

Mum and dad was in KL on 20 - 22 November and stayed at Abikia's condo. They spent time sight-seeing near the Pavilion shopping center, within walking distance from the condo.

On Sunday, we had dim sum breakfast at Sogo shopping complex, then went to the Bird Park. After that, it was off to the Islamic Art Museum near the Bird Park.

Sun 12 July 2009 - Klang

Papa and mummy were in Klang from 11 - 13 July for a family get-together with Klang relatives. Bikia picked me up from Puchong and we joined them for Sunday dinner.

It was during dinner that I found out that Shu Meng (third aunty's daughter) is now a doctor and Kimberly (or Chia Ling, second uncle's daughter) was back from Australia where she is studying. She has one more year of studies before graduating next year. Cousin Michelle is fifth aunty, aunty Sharon's daughter.

Fourth aunty, aunt Didi, was also in Klang with her daughters Romino and Felicia for the Klang family get-together. They were in Klang for their usual once-in-every-two-years visit from Germany.

Papa’s birthday at Bikia’s KL condo

On Tuesday, two days before the actual day of papa's birthday, I drove over to Bikia's condo after work, to have dinner with mummy and papa who had been staying at Bikia's place after the Klang visit. It is a very spacious and posh condo at One Hampshire, within walking distance from KLCC. Emy had bought a cake for papa and we had the cake after dinner at a nearby Chinese restaurant. After staying over for two nights, mummy and papa flew back to KK on 15 July.

Had a phone call from Abikia to tell me that he is in KL. He had been transferred back to KL and I only knew about it the day after he arrived.

May 9 - 17 2009

It was Abi's and Anica's visit to KK, as Abi had informed us a few months ago he had intention of ending his bachelor days by proposing to Anica.

Sunday 10 May: Lee family photo at Sutera Harbour 

We planned a family trip to Kundasang to enjoy the cool mountain air, while getting to know Anica. Papa even prepared a detailed itinerary document on the activities, date, time and flight details before May as we were flying in from Austin, KL and Singapore for this family get-together. It has been many years since the 6 of us had a family outing together. The last time was probably during our schooldays back in the 80s, which now seem such a long time ago.
