Wed 10 Oct - Day 9

Baby River looks cute even when she is just doing her normal baby routine like sleeping.

River is doing well. She is now able to keep her head up, and is using her hands.

As for me, I went on a day trip to Melaka with Friendship Toastmasters friends and it was a relaxing trip with sight-seeing and food hunt. The only stressful part of the trip was having to wake up at 6 AM (on a Saturday morning!) and be at the meeting place by 8 AM, before we depart to Melaka in 3 cars.

She arrived at 6.31 PM Oct 2 2012, weighing 8 lbs 3 oz or 3.7 kg. In total, 23 inches of much awaited bundle of joy.

 

Can't tell yet whether she looks like her mom or her dad.

River is eating well, sleeping most of the time, and is not fussy except for when she is gassy or hungry. So far, she is doing exceptionally well in her role as newborn baby.
