Singapore Weekend

We decided to have a mini family gathering in Singapore since I was there for several weeks and Abikia could easily cross the border for a short weekend trip.

Fri 18 Oct
Met up with Bikia at 8 PM at Dhoby Ghaut station. After dinner at Plaza Singapura, we strolled along Orchard Road.

Sat 19 Oct
While Bikia headed over to Sentosa Island, it was work for me and Beh Ling. We met up at 4 PM at Orchard. As Beh Ling was hungry, we headed to the food court and had bak chor mee (minced meat noodles) and yong tau foo. Then we headed over to Beh Ling’s condo at River Valley.

In the evening, we walked around Gardens in the Bay and watched the sound and lights show sponsored by OCBC. For dinner, we had Hokkien mee, nasi lemak, fried kuey teow and ice kacang. The Hokkien mee here is totally different from the Hokkien mee that you get in KL.

Sun 20 Oct
After church service, we decided to visit Esplanade. Then it was off to Chinatown for lunch before we headed to Marina Bay Sands. Amazing architecture.

We met up with Beh Ling at the airport and had our dinner there before Bikia flew back to KL.

Wed 23 Oct
Newest member of the Royal Family and media sensation Prince George at his Christening ceremony. My invitation card must have been lost in the mail...

September 2013

Tues 20 Aug
A charming new photo of the royal baby and parents. Prince G has been making headlines and is an unstoppable media sensation...even when he's fast asleep.

Fri 6 Sept
With 4th aunty is back in Klang since 1 Sept, Bikia met up with aunty and cousins Romina and Felicia. They had a Japanese meal at Mid Valley.

Sat 14 Sept
As I couldn’t make it for the 6 Sept get-together, I met up with aunty and cousins in Klang. We had dinner with 7th uncle & family at a Japanese restaurant.

And now, some snapshot from River’s hectic schedule. From painting to swimming to smiling for the camera, it’s a busy life for 11 month old River.

Happy smile

The innocent look

Bright & cheerful smile

Bravely setting forth to a brand new world – the other side of the pool. Looks like she's waving goodbye to mum while dad pushes her off on her journey

Busy

Looking pensive. What's on your mind, River ?
