Family Photo 16 June

We had our family photo shoot at FamGlam studio which turned out to be a fun session. With 9 person for the photo shoot, we had many options to choose for group and solo shots. It was tough selecting just 30 photos.

CNY 1 Feb 2022

No more lock down ! Back to normal (sort of) celebration except that our border is still closed and Beh Ling can't come back for our family gathering. We had our family call on 29 January which lasted about an hour. 

Went to Club for CNY photo session and lunch. Dad took the scenic route back to see the railway stop near Maktab Sabah, the building which was formerly the State Secretariat (now the Ministry of Finance), Art Gallery and State Library near Taman Rimba.

Beh Ling was busy with birthday celebrations. The cakes look good too.

CNY Eve 11 Feb

This year due to MCO 2.0 where no interstate travel is allowed, all of us can't go back to KK. At 7 PM, we had our first call instead of our usual reunion dinner together.

CNY 12 Feb

It's a different CNY celebration this year, same as other families who can't travel back to their hometown for their family gathering.

We had our family call on Saturday at 10 AM MY time which is Friday 12 Feb 8 PM Austin time. Our first WhatsApp video call from 5 different locations.

New Year 2021

New Year greetings from Austin

Our New Year lunch consisting of fish, carrot, potato, tomato and broccoli. For dessert, another edition of agar agar and pink guava.

We were watching parts of entertaining #CNNNYE with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. 2020 was turned upside down by the pandemic and here's hoping that 2021 will be a year of remarkable recovery.
