We watched “The King’s Speech”, a brilliant movie with Colin Firth as King George VI. In the afternoon, went out shopping with Beh Ling and mummy at Suria.

I was invited to schoolmate Jackie's baby Angel's first birthday party. Baby Angel was as cute as a button in her mini cheong sam outfit. She even had a tiny hair pin, courtesy of her fashionable mum.
With Jackie, her baby and husband Charles, and Beatrice.
Seated are Lanash and her daughther Tashnee

We had a refurbishing activity at the dining area, with the new table cloth bought from Suria.
Aunty Soo Lee came over for dinner and we talked until 10 PM. She regaled us with her schooldays stories at All Saints, where the current Berjaya Hotel is.
For payment of RM25 a month, it was bare essentials when it came to meals at the boarding school. Fortunately her mum and stepfather were owners of a sundry shop. They packed biscuits, butter and Marmite for her sister and her after each visit home. The taxi driver would exclaimed at the amount of baggage they had when sending them back to the boarding school.

Just before graduation, the school principal asked a few students to her office. They were told they would be teachers after graduating. That was how aunty Soo Lee ended up being a school teacher.
As a trainee teacher, she sneaked out to watch “The Sound of Music” and has watched this movie 6 times since then.

I was packing in the morning before going off to church at 10 AM with Beh Ling and mummy. Then off to the club where we had a quick lunch, missing out on the lion dance, before going off to the airport. Flight to KL went off without a hitch and arrived on schedule at 6.15 PM.
